Terms:
Greenfield Photo’s Photo Contest begins Friday, Dec 9, 2011 and ends Friday, Jan. 6 , 2012 at 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that they are 18 years old and older.

Who may enter:
Photographers ages 18 and over—except for individuals affiliated with the Greenfield Photographic Services, including employees and their immediate families living in their households—are eligible. Greenfield Photographic will determine winner’s eligibility.

What to enter:
The category for this contest will be "Holidays".

Photographs must have been shot by the entrant within the past three (3) years (since January 1, 2007).

We do not accept digitally or otherwise enhanced or altered photos for this contest. However, minor adjustments, including spotting/dusting, dodging and burning, contrast and slight color adjustment or the digital equivalents, are acceptable. If our judges see that a photographer has obviously altered his or her photo, they reserve the right to disqualify it.

For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must secure a model release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject's parent or guardian and provide it to Greenfield Photographic upon request. A release form is available for download on our website.

Photographs that have won any other contests or have been published in magazines and newspapers are not eligible. Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's copyright are not eligible.

How to enter:
Please submit photographs by downloading the Entry Form on our website at www.greenfieldphoto.com. Then, COMPLETE FORM & EMAIL it to greenfieldphoto@comcast.net with only ONE photo attached per entry. We do not accept photographs submitted through the mail. Submit no more than three (3) photographs and entry forms per contestant. If model release form is required, complete in the event it is requested by our judges.

High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable.

Photographs must be in a .jpeg or .jpg format. Files submitted may not be larger than 2Mb. The 3 finalists may be asked to submit a high-resolution file or an original negative, print or slide. Greenfield judges reserve the right to disqualify contestants who are unable to submit, upon request, a high-resolution photograph of at least 300 dpi at 5 x 7 inches or an original photo negative, print or slide.

While the gain of promotional material or images IS NOT the intent of this contest, however, by entering the contest, entrants do grant Greenfield Photographic Services, Inc. a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and create derivative works of the winner, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any Greenfield Photographic purpose, including, but not limited to advertising and promotion of our business and our web site, exhibition, and commercial products, including but not limited to any advertisement or display of products we may offer now or in the future. Greenfield Photo will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as it is not our intention to run these contests for our own gain, they are intended to be a fun and healthy competition to bring art and appreciation back into photography.

Entry deadline:
All digital entries must be received by Greenfield Photographic by FRIDAY Jan 6, 2012, 5pm Eastern Standard Time.

Judging:
Judging will be conducted by employees and owner of Greenfield Photographic Services, Inc. Selected finalists and winners will be posted on our Facebook page.

Decisions of the judges will be final.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Greenfield Photographic Services, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of Greenfield Photo will be final.
